Steven graduated from Mercer University in 2006 with a BBA in Accounting and a minor in English. Before graduating, he prepared basic tax returns at H&R Block and then interned at a local CPA firm, Lamb & Braswell, LLC, where he learned the basics of bookkeeping and payroll. After graduating, he went to work as an accounting clerk at Reeves Construction for a short time before taking a job at The Rainey Accounting Firm, LLC, where he gained valuable experience in bookkeeping, tax, and payroll. In 2013, he established his own firm specializing in working with small businesses. Steven has worked with a variety of businesses, assisting them with their accounting and tax needs, and he particularly enjoys consulting with businesses owners to grow their business and profits.
Steven is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, and is a certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor.
Steven is from Waynesboro, GA – Bird Dog Capital of the World - and enjoys hunting. He is married to Nichole, owner of Signature Salon in Macon, and they are the proud parents of a daughter. They attend New City Church, where they are active in various aspects of church ministry
Lita graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University in 1994, summa cum laude, with bachelor’s degrees in psychology and social work. She completed her master’s degree in clinical psychology from Middle Tennessee State University in 1996 and taught psychology for six years. After spending several years as a stay-at-home mom, Lita discovered her true calling and passion when she began providing bookkeeping services to a small business in Macon in 2006. She then joined a local accounting firm in 2008, specializing in providing monthly bookkeeping services to small business clients.
Lita is a certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor and a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers.
Lita was born and raised in Fitzgerald, GA. She is married and has two children, and she enjoys reading, scrapbooking, and spending time with her family in her spare time. Lita is a member of First Evangelical Church, where she teaches Sunday School and is active in various ministries.
Janesia graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2011 with a BBA in Accounting. She worked in the accounting department for a community bank in Greenville, SC for three years. After relocating back to Georgia, she worked for a local bank preparing financial reports for the senior management team, and is currently taking her exams to become a Certified Public Accountant. Janesia is focused on helping others understand their financial needs.
Janesia was born and raised in Warner Robins, GA. She enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends and working out. She attends Beulahland Bible Church.
After spending years as a stay-at home mom, and homeschooling her two sons, Melinda joined the work force in 2010. Melinda will likely be the first person you speak with when you call our firm.
Melinda was born and raised in Haleyville, Alabama. She relocated to Macon in 1996. She is married and has two sons. She attends New City Church and enjoys traveling, dancing and spending time with her family and friends.
Walker graduated from the University of Georgia in 2014 with a B.S.Ed. in Mathematics Education. After graduation, he taught high school math at a public high school in Gainesville, Ga. He then relocated back to his hometown of Macon where he taught math at First Presbyterian Day School for two years. Walker is now working on his master’s of accounting degree from Georgia College. He has goals of beginning to take the CPA exams while he pursues his master’s degree. Walker focuses on providing monthly bookkeeping services to various clients.
Walker is originally from Macon, Ga. He married his wife, Sidney, in March of 2014. They are members of North Macon Presbyterian Church. Walker enjoys running, playing sports, and practicing the guitar.
